Grade 12 / Matric;

Diploma in business management or related field;

5 – 15 years working experience as a store manager;

Computer literate;

Own reliable transport;

Valid driver’s license;

Excellent personnel management and communication skills;

Time management and organisational skills;

Team player;

Manage and conduct store and staff meetings.

Advantageous:

Experience in the hardware and building material field;

Knowledgeable on industry compliance requirements;

in-depth knowledge on various store departments.

Jobs specification:

Responsibility of the entire store;

Ensure sufficient staff at all times;

Ensure staff training;

Manage staff attendance and work schedule;

Ensure upkeep of the store, safety, hygiene, cleanliness;

Ensure correct merchandise and display;

Ensure thorough stock management and replenishments;

Management reporting.

Competencies essential:

To demonstrate customer service mindset;

English – fluent in writing and speaking;

Ability to work under pressure, have good attention to detail and dead line driven.
